(STATS) -- A broken left foot has ended the college career of Lamar all-time rushing leader Kade Harrington, coach Ray Woodard announced Tuesday.The senior running back, runner-up for 2015 STATS FCS Offensive Player of the Year, was injured during Lamars 32-31 win over Northwestern State this past Saturday. He underwent an MRI on Monday.Kade is a great football player, competitor and leader, Woodard said. We will miss his fighting spirit in the huddle, but I know he will continue to be the great leader he has been over the past four seasons.As a junior, Harrington led the FCS in rushing yards (2,092) and all-purpose yards (2,344). He was the Southland player of the year and a STATS first-team All-American.This season, he rushed for 636 yards and four touchdowns on 123 carries, bringing his career total to 4,348 rushing yards.
