Nike launches Doernbecher Freestyle shoes each year, and this year is actually no exception. Six infants created 11 pairs involving charity shoes with SIX classic shoes. Recently, this official map of Nike Start up Element 55 designed through Kahleah Corona was basically exposed.
The entire set of two shoes uses bright pink as being the main color, and combines a number of colors such as fluorescent natural, purple and gray that will reflect Kaliya's lively as well as uplifting personality. The upper is constructed of cicada wings, and the lace buckle consists of purple and pink set. The layering is full!
The brain pattern within her left foot and the green ribbon logo with her tongue symbolize her "traumatic brain injury" disorder. Her midsole is decorated with her favorite emoji showing her optimism when confronting illness. The initials coming from all her family's names are printed about the shoes, and the rattle pattern on the heels represents Kalia's baby sister.
Each detail element within the shoe has its own meaning it is all displayed on the actual insole. The original intent being Nike's charity series is always to encourage these young people that are sick in early childhood, and give them that courage to fight the illness.
