ATLANTA -- The Green Bay Packers, already without their top two running backs, had to play without their two receivers who have moonlighted at running back.Packers receiver Ty Montgomery was inactive for Sundays 33-32 loss to Atlanta because he dealing with a kidney-related ailment, sources tell ESPNs Josina Anderson and Ed Werder.One source said Montgomery observed blood in his urine after taking a blow in last weeks game, but hes feeling better now.The Packers rested Montgomery Sunday as a precautionary measure.Montgomery took most of his snaps out of the backfield the past two weeks.Montgomery joined fellow receiver Randall Cobb on the inactives list. Cobb was ruled out because of a hamstring injury, as was first reported by ESPNs Adam Schefter early Sunday morning. Its Cobbs first missed game since Week 16 of 2013.Montgomery carried nine times for 60 yards in last weeks win over the Bears. He also caught 10 passes (for 66 yards) for the second straight game. Of his 20 catches the previous two games, 13 of them came from the backfield.It left the Packers with undrafted rookie Don Jackson, who is coming off a hand injury that limited him to two carries for 6 yards in his NFL debut last week against Chicago, and the recently acquired Knile Davis, who arrived in Green Bay in an Oct. 18 trade from Kansas City. Davis also carried twice against the Bears for 1 yard.Running back Eddie Lacy (ankle) was placed on injured reserve, and his backup James Starks (knee) is expected to miss at least one more week.Linebacker Clay Matthews (hamstring) also is inactive.The Packers also are short on cornerbacks against the NFLs leading receiver, Julio Jones. Damarious Randall and Quinten Rollins both were ruled out on Friday because of groin injuries, and Sam Shields is on injured reserve. They will start their Nos. 4 and 5 cornerbacks, LaDarius Gunter and Demetri Goodson.
