Virginia Tech coach Justin Fuente has reinstated cornerback Adonis Alexander and end Houshun Gaines to the Hokies roster following their spring citations for marijuana possession, but both players will be suspended for the Sept. 3 opener against Liberty.Alexander and Gaines had been suspended indefinitely after being arrested April 24 in Christiansburg, Virginia, and charged with marijuana possession, a misdemeanor. Both players were sentenced in June to a year of probation and 24 hours of community service each.
