Having stuck around during good, bad and ugly times at AFL club Port Adelaide, Justin Westhoff doesnt want to retire without a premiership.Westhoff will become the seventh Port player to bring up the 200-match milestone when his side face Sydney at the SCG on Saturday. The 29-year-old arrived at the club courtesy of the 2006 draft, two years after their premiership success.Westhoff featured in the 2007 grand final, which Geelong won by 119 points. The Power rebuilt under Ken Hinkley and fell one goal short of defeating Hawthorn in a 2014 preliminary final but have since stalled.Hopefully Im around to see some sort of finals footy and hopefully a premiership in the near future, Westhoff said on Monday.I definitely want to be around for a few more years to come.Weve got a great group coming up. Weve played some good footy in the last few years but we still havent reached where we want to go.I definitely want to be around for that.Westhoff noted he was fond of his time at Port.I know its been 10 years now. Its kind of all rolled into one. Its been a bit of an up-and-down journey, he said.Meanwhile, Westhoff said fellow forward John Butcher had a point to prove in the final four rounds of the 2016 season.Hes got four games to go to make the club decide if they want him to stick around, Westhoff said. The ball is in his court.(Coach Ken Hinkley) has given him the chance to prove himself. When hes aggressive at the ball theres not too many players who can really stop him.But he can be his own worst enemy at times.Wholesale Nike Zoom Canada . Ibaka equaled a career high with 20 rebounds, adding four blocked shots and 15 points as the Thunder smothered the Milwaukee Bucks offence in a 92-79 victory Saturday night. Nike Zoom Clearance Canada . The Dane followed up his first European Tour title last weekend with eight birdies and just a single dropped shot on Thursday for a one-stroke advantage over South Africas Allan Versfeld and Portugals Ricardo Santos. http://www.wholesalenikezoomcanada.com/ . William Carrier opened the scoring for Cape Breton (6-4-2), but Andrew Ryan tied the game and Brent Andrews put the Mooseheads (8-6-0) in front for good with a short-handed goal at 13:49 of the second period. Manuel was offered a position the day he was fired. He accepted earlier this week and the team made the announcement Friday.Thomas Broich might be entering what will likely be his last A-League season as a player, but his influence on Australian football could be only just beginning.Arguably the competitions greatest import, Broich is strongly considering taking up coaching when he hangs up his boots. The 35-year-old German is in the final year of his marquee deal with Brisbane Roar and, while unsure if he will seek another contract extension, hes already started thinking about life after retirement.Nothing is set in stone just yet but Broich is serious about returning to the Roar one day and exploring the art of coaching. The teaching element of it is just beautiful, Broich told AAP.When you see guys taking it on and becoming better players, or us becoming a better team, that is a really rewarding and fulfilling feeling.I could certainly see myself in a role like that. It might be as an academy coach, assistant coach, it might even be as a head coach.I dont know exactly if that is what I want from life - obviously it puts you under a lot of pressure. Its more seeing what suits my style, what feels right, that kind of approach. Not all great players make good coaches but Broich shapes as a gem of an addition to the national ranks if he can make a successful transition. He is also in the early stages of applying for Australian citizenship, which he qualifies for, having been in the country since joining the Roar in May 2010.In an added bonus, that could give coach John Aloisi an extra foreign slot later in the season.Brisbane is and will always be such an important part of my life, it really turned life around for me and Ill feel just forever grateful for what Ive experienced here, Broich said.Ive got the opportunity now to actually become a part of Australia and I think Im going to seize this opportunity.Im kind of thinking after my career, I want to spend a little bit of time in Australia just to really experience and ttravel the country for once - spend more than just three days in Sydney or Melbourne, actually go to Alice Springs, Western Australia, sailing in the Whitsundays, that kind of stuff.ddddddddddddBut then I want to go back to Europe, catch up with friends and family, look after my mum a little bit, might even do my coaching badges over there.Theres a part of me that dreams of coming back to Brisbane in a different role one day.The Roar is, of course, where the former German youth international rediscovered his passion for the game.Then-coach Ange Postecoglou famously drove nine hours across Europe to meet with a burnt-out Broich - frustrated with life in the Bundesliga and cynical of footballs business side, as captured in the documentary Tom Meets Zizou - to convince him to move to the A-League.Broich has mesmerised domestic audiences ever since, winning three championships and becoming one of only four players to have won the Johnny Warren medal twice, putting him in the esteemed company of Socceroos greats Mark Viduka, Scott Chipperfield and Damien Mori.Time is catching up, however, and Broichs powers appeared to be on the wane in the A-League last season as he struggled to make his usual imprint on the competition. With a rejuvinated Tommy Oar expected to take his starting position on the left wing, a bench spot likely beckons - but hes confident he can still be a key contributor as his glittering career winds down. There are moments where you have to admit the younger guys are just faster and quicker, Broich said. But then theres an upside to it. The longer you play, the smarter you become, the more experienced you become.Football isnt that much about running, its more about your awareness, vision, touch and all that - and that certainly is not getting worse with age.
